![]() So, while tripping through the cyber-social network on YouTube I came across a newbie dreadhead with a dreadlock journey update. Said dreadie was a young, blonde chick, with brand new, fluffy locks, playing a ukulele. Her handle was Kylene YOLOcks, and even though I knew what to expect from a newbie-dreadie with a lock update, I watched anyway because it's a thing I'm interested in. I also get a bang out of veteran dreadies who leave comments on the update vids, shelling out oodles of advice on what and what not to do with dreads. Some of it’s good. Some not. Kylene, surprised me. Her update didn’t follow protocol and in moments, she had me engaged, curious and cracking up with her content. It was soooo much more than a basic dread update. She's oozing with talent and has a myriad of interests and a later in her vids, she shared her wonderful story and the fuel that propels her work. Since then, I’ve been happy to see her grow in her videography content, stepping out of her comfort zone. More recently she's been including family and friends in her vids, giving ShoutOuts to family-friendly, area attractions and her local indie biz community members. Sometimes she she includes fun, silly songs. Other videos show a different, more depthy side of her music. She writes her own lyrics and her voice is superbly agile. Kylene is a wife and mama who says that once upon a time, her life was dark, difficult and riddled with challenges and defeats. Somewhere in her journey, she experienced a radically, supernatural event that changed everything. Her story of from there to now reminds me of Cinderella, and that we still walk in the midst of the miraculous every day. Recently I was thrilled to see Kylene hang the newest shingle in the Weeblyhood, where she's joined the good company of several friends and colleagues in establishing her own website. Kylene YOLOcks went live a few days ago and she's already published her first blog post. Below is my screenshot of her home page. You can click on the image to get teleported to her new site. I hope you’ll take a bit of time to visit Kylene’s new site and extend her a warm welcome to the indie biz community. She says she’s been intimidated by the idea of blogging, and I’m right proud of her for pressing beyond her comfort zone to further develop her talents. We all start somewhere. Like the rest of us Kylene will discover what works for her, what doesn’t and before we know it, she’ll have established her new platform with a well defined and unique voice as a pro blogger and vlogger. Her site is monetized with a virtual tip jar and hoping you’ll be inclined to show her a little love by using it. You’ll find it in the sidebar of her blog page. Just look for her recently installed, cool tip jar images. You can also connect with her by subscribing to her YouTube channel as well as following her on Instagram. And so, welcome to the Weeblyhood, Kylene. You’ll find you’re among friends and I’m grateful for the privilege of introducing your site ShoutOutsThe wrap!Thank you again for visiting today and as always, I hope you know how much I appreciate your interest and support of flashPress, and other pro blogging sites you might subscribe to on the web.
I pray you enjoy a blessed week and hope you'll visit again soon! femmeflashpoint
