I was surprised. She sat down with us in her waiting room and not long into the conversation she’d already guessed my blood type. Okay, guessed isn’t the right term. Knew is the right term. She said, “You’re a type A, aren’t you?” She was right. I'm an A+. I wasn’t spooked but she definitely had my attention and intrigued me. How often do you run into a stranger that knows your blood type that didn't test you for it, or have a look at your donor card? I worked in blood banking for seven years, specifically with type and cross-match, and even I don't have a clue what someone's blood type is after a short conversation in which the term type or blood never comes up. So ... wow! Maybe you’re needing a remedy for an ear infection, allergy symptoms, hypertension, trouble sleeping, or even something as serious as congestive heart failure. How about help with wrinkles, dull hair or brittle nails? If you’re wanting to go the natural route remedy, the place you need to get acquainted with is Sheila's Herb & Vitamin Shop. The owner, Sheila Hargis, is well versed in her shop’s merchandise and the myriad of benefits that can be derived from them. Through personal experience and research she’s learned a great deal about homeopathics and uses them herself on a regular basis. Her products are manufactured by companies with good reputations for quality merchandise. She even handed me an excellent little blue book packing a sizable chunk of information on a variety of herbs and what physical problems they’re known for being able to heal or alleviate symptoms of. I love the book and think everyone should have one for quick referencing. I noticed and commented to her that her shop is tiny in comparison to the much larger chain stores that offer similar products. She pointed out that her shop may be small but it’s well stocked with reputable products for nearly anything anyone might come in needing a homeopathic fix for. Although the shop isn't huge, it’s certainly not lacking in great taste and style. Sheila shares shop-space with a colleague and friend who’s a massage therapist. A cozy waiting area is situated between the two businesses featuring some elegant display cases with a myriad of beautiful objects for clients to enjoy, some of which are available for purchase. Sheila’s a native of what I call the rivers’ land, meaning the area embraced by the Ohio River to the south and the Wabash to the west and so her beautiful little shop isn’t far from where she grew up in Gibson County, Indiana. Henderson is the first city in Kentucky, just across the river via Highway 41. Finish line...My thanks to you again for your support of independently owned and operated business. If Sheila's shop is in your area, I encourage you to pay it a visit knowing you'll like it as much as I do!
That's it for this one! God bless you, thank you for the read and please don't forget to thank a veteran at your next opportunity! femmeflashhpoint

I was going to ask the same questions as Vicki, Femme. Hopefully, she'll set up a website where people out of her area can support the store.

That's good to know, Femme. I have a local farm fresh proprietor I'd love to promote. I've written some articles about her store when she was first opening up. She has really brought the farm to table concept live and thriving to our town and she's only been in business for a little over a year.

Love the photos and your descriptions of Sheila's expertise and beautiful shop. The little blue book also looks cool. When using natural remedies and herbs it's important to have good, quality information that's easy to read.
