Using Google Keep on the fly is so easy, whether it’s with interview notes that I speak, type (laptop or smartphone), or write with a stylus, or to record an image, and maybe mark it up afterward. It’s a quite simple tool that’s packed with loads of helpful options. I’ve come to use it daily for work and personal needs. Doing what we do... Since much of my work incorporates writing, and collaborating with other writers and clients, I’m often needing to incorporate Google Keep notes into a Google Drive document. I never start a document simple as a “Google Doc” to prevent clutter in my Google Drive Office Suite. Every document I make has an associated folder to house it in. Not everyone is into my type of organization, and prefer to use Google Docs singularly. Thankfully, Google Keep makes it easy to integrate notes either way, but I suggest, if you're collaborating with others on a project, to begin the document inside Google Drive, rather than loose document and incorporate Google Keep notes as follows, to prevent confusion and ensure everyone working on the doc is working on THE doc, and not a duplicate that never got incorporated into Google Drive. And so, if you're "in" a Google Document (whether it's in Google Drive or not) here's how to get your Google Keep notes added to it. 1. Up top, in your document’s toolbar, click “Tools” 2. 3. 4. 5. You can manipulate the incorporated content same as any other document content. Questions? Leave a note in the comments, or send me an email. I’m happy to explain further. Hope you'll give it a try, and let me know if you're a Google Keep fan too. ShoutOuts The wrap! I hope your weather hasn’t been too contrary and that your new year is off to a grand start!
Hope to see you again next Tuesday... Shalom, Angelia 😎
