Biodegradable ingredients. Containers made from recycled plastics. Ingredients including essential oils that are tough on dirt but gentle on you and your environment.
Can be used on floors, counter-tops, sinks, bathtubs and in the laundry. It comes in a variety of natural scents. Here we back and forth between geranium and lavender, at least most of the time and it's the main ingredient in my laundry soap. Just ¼ cup to a gallon of water and you've got yourself a divinely scented cleaning solution that will knock out dirt and safely scent your house.
Pet owners are (hopefully) in the know about cleaning solutions not always being safe for pets. In my case, the pet is a parrot.
Birds, especially those that are tame and have lived in a controlled environment for most of their lives, are often acutely sensitive to all sorts of toxins, like those found in cleaners and toiletries many households use on a near-daily basis. Stuff like hair spray, air fresheners, inorganic candle fumes, surface cleaners, personal perfumes--all of those can easily cause birds to get sick, or kill them in a short amount of time. Thankfully, Mrs. Meyer's liquid cleaners and my parrot, Jade, get along well. I use a vinegar/water/baking soda solution to clean his cage, and keep dry baking soda sprinkled in the catch pan, under it. But, on the furniture in in our quarters, most often I use well-diluted Mrs. Meyer's cleaners. I even use it to wash my yoga mat. It's never had an ill effect on the foam material it's made of, and never caused me to have a skin or respiratory reaction. It smells amazing. The organically derived scents are just right, natural and fresh but never overpowering. FYI, Mrs. Meyer's products are Leaping Bunny Certified. Easy on the budget!
My family often purchases Mrs. Meyer's products at a retail shop. You can also buy them directly from the Mrs. Meyers Clean Day website at mrsmeyers.com.
For the Amazon shopping fans, Mrs. Meyer's products are available there as well. All of the Mrs. Meyer's cleaners we've tried have exceeded our expectations as an aromatically-therapeutic effective cleaner. Trying to decide on a favorite is, so far, impossible. I've loved all of the ones we've used. ShoutOutsThe wrap!
That's it for this one!
God bless you, thanks for the read and see you next Tuesday! ☺
