About the Pack Rides! galleries ...
The only requirement in joining one of our packs is to show up for a skate, ride, hike, whatever, and have a good time.
The only cost involved in obtaining a membership is a bit of enthusiasm and energy. Whatever someone's fitness level is, if they're able to get out and want to get some fun exercise with some friends who enjoy the same sort of activity, even those who are brand new at it, or aren't even good at it ... get in touch, we'd love to have your company.
We all had to start somewhere, and we've all been new at every sport we enjoy. A couple sports I love are blading, ice skating and skiing, and I'm not great at any of them, but still have fun when I get to do them. For us it's about getting better at what we love doing, learning as we go along and hone our abilities, encouraging one another to have a great time, and doing our best, whenever possible.
If you're of a mind to start your own pack, let us know. We'll be happy to include you and your pack's pictures here, and will be happy to include your pack in our blog posts, too!
If we've inspired you to get outside and have some fun doing what we do, we've accomplished our mission with this blog and its galleries.
Below is the gallery of our members, our guests and some shots from "the hood", translates to the Oakhurst neighborhood of Fort Worth, Texas.
Each photo will let you know who the member is and which pack they ride with. As our numbers grow, and even more packs are formed to join us in the fun, we'll add their pictures accordingly.
Below the three galleries here are buttons that will take you to actual ride outings in various areas, and honestly, they're awesome collections of some great times with wonderful people!
Many of the photos were taken while I was cycling, so please pardon if a couple of them are taken at odd angles. My sister, who founded the Wabash Pack, has also included her own photos to these collections, and many of hers were taken in the Wabash River Valley of southern Indiana.
If you'd like updates for when we have new galleries added, just give me a shout via the Contact Us page, and I'll be happy to include you in any email update notifications. Also, if you've got any shots you'd like to add to our guest gallery, please get in touch! We'd love to include you or even promote you in forming a pack in your area!
Thanks for your visit and please enjoy your stay and we hope you'll be inspired by what we've put together to share with you!

It's always a thrill when one of us are out and come across on folks on cycles, skating, etcetera who will allow us to take a pic of them, or their ride, or both. It's even more of a thrill to hear from a guest, or someone we met while on an outing, telling us that they've formed their own pack, or have been inspired to start cycling, jogging, walking, rolling, whatever it is they can do that keeps their muscles working and helps them get the benefits of a bit of exercise in a fun environment.
We also love to hear about their favorite brands of gear, active-wear, and places they frequent for their adventures.
Our thanks to all of you who have allowed us to include you in the Pack Rides! Guest Gallery.
Your friendliness and participation are welcomed and appreciated!

In the Hood (Oakhurst Neighborhood in Fort Worth, TX)
The packs aren't always spending their time in the saddle, navigating paths and trails. A good bit of it is hanging out in the neighborhood doing upgrades, maintenance and making repairs.
Thankfully, in Fort Worth, we have McGuyver (Jonathan Hall) who can make a rocket-ship out of duct-tape and pvc pipe. (Seriously, the guy's a fantastic engineer, carpenter, mechanic, artist -- his list of talents is huge!).
Hanging in the neighborhood is also where we're often planning for the next trip, or discussing what went wrong with the last one, and learning how to do our own mechanics and enhancements from Jonathan.
